Games? Requirement to play games on pc for nowaday games:
-Pentium Dual Core 2.0ghz+.
-3GB RAM excluding shared memory.
-15GB Harddisk space for 1 game.
-1248 MB of Graphic Card Memory, excluding shared memory.
-DirectX 10 v2 installed.
-DVD drive that can read DVD-9 (dual layer=8.9GB Max). Optional: Blu-Ray drive with 6x speed.
-Windows XP with Service Pack 3 or Windows Vista with Service Pack 1. Optional: Linux OS (Redhat or Ubuntu version) with WINE (running Windows application in Linux environment) application installed (using Linux OS lowered the pc resources usage).
-Updated driver for motherboard installed.
-Enough pc fan to cool down faster during gameplay.

The latest Sony Vaio laptop (unavailable in Brunei) and latest Hewlett Packard laptop (also unavailable in Brunei) have meet these requirement. Sony goes with 2.4ghz, 3GB RAM, 1GB graphics, 500GB harddisk and a Blu-Ray disc burner. PS3? With only 256MB of RAM and 256MB of Graphic, thats useless on playing nowaday pc games. To play pc game in PS3, install linux and then install WINE application. Now Linux only giving you 20% of free memory in 256MB RAM, playing old game and old counter-strike still ok. (am I a bit far?)

Wah really! At first my choice is HP, but I have to thing again whether to choose Sony or not.

My friend said Sony have low capability to play on games...(wonder if this is true)

Yeah its true, but only in Brunei market. Sony realized nowadays laptop not only for work and education, but also for entertainment. Windows Vista alone need 128MBs of Video Graphic only for the interface, excluding other feature. And some application like PowerDVD need also Video Graphic to enchanced the DVD playback. No doubt, Sony will not falling behind by introducing all in one laptop just like Hewlett Packard, Acer and Apple.

I choose HP because ITB use HP model, so I decide to choose the same...for now I think haha.

What screen size do you recommend, 14.1",13.3" or so on? My same friend recommend 15" inch, for gamer standard only
